POSITION: Part-time Academic Instructor (Information & Communications Technology)

LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefited

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Anyone eligible to work in the United States

JOB SUMMARY: Duties include providing instruction to two sections of students in the CSCI 101 Software Apps & Digital Literacy course.

Required Competencies

 
  • Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
  • Master's degree in field related to Information & Communications Technology
  • Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office and Digital Literacy 
  • Ability to articulate and support the two-year postsecondary college philosophy with a commitment to teaching and learning in a two-year college setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, self-directed, and able to work effectively and professionally with students and staff in a team setting
  • Computer and technology literate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

 
  • Successful college or postsecondary teaching experience
  • Experience with online teaching
