Job Title:  Heating Plant Operator 

Location:  Mayville, ND 

Compensation:  $37,000+

Job Description: Maintains all boiler operations including firing of boilers, operating boiler feed waters, vacuum and circulating pumps, water softeners and coal equipment; adjusts equipment to maintain even flow of steam. Off season will perform preventative maintenance as needed.  

Key Competencies: 

  • Must be able to work rotating shifts
  • Requires rotating weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 

Minimum qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Valid Driver’s License  

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Mechanical Skills
  • Knowledge of pumping systems, valves and piping systems
