Swimming Instructor
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Teach Swim Lessons to individuals with various abilities and ages at the MSU Pool
- Manage a class of 4-6 students by providing swim instruction
- Provide a safe, and educational experience for students.
Compensation: $15-16/hour
Hours: Vary based on student schedule and lesson scheduling but can include afternoons and evenings.
Required Qualifications:
- All successful candidates must be currently certified or able to obtain certification as a swim instructor or Water Safety Instructor
- Basic swimming and water safety skills/knowledge
- For applicants who are not certified, we will provide a training class before employment
- Strong customer service, including effective communication
