This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position.

Camp Cook Assistant- 2024 Camp Season

Job Summary: The cook assistant position will require assisting the camp cook with meal preparation. In addition, the cook assistant is responsible for general cleaning and maintenance. Work days will be from Sunday afternoon to Thursday morning with two weekend camps.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with meal preparation under the direction of the camp cook
  2. Ensure cleanliness of food preparation and delivery areas.
  3. Follow state health department regulations pertaining to safe food practice
  4. Sanitize kitchen surfaces regularly throughout the day
  5. Report any accident or injuries to camp cook

Work Schedule:

Work days will be from Sunday afternoon to Thursday morning with two weekend camps.

Advertised Pay:

Pay is negotiable with experience. Must be 15 years old. Room and board are available.
