Position Information

 

Family HealthCare Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team of innovative professionals. We are a closed door, clinic pharmacy looking for a candidate that will be a positive addition to our team by providing excellent customer service and culturally sensitive patient care. The Pharmacy Technician at Family HealthCare Pharmacy will work under the direct oversight of the Registered Pharmacist to assist in the technical services of preparing medication for dispensing. The Pharmacy Technician will also assist the Pharmacist in performing Medication Therapy Management services, as well as participating as a care team member for our Medication Synchronization Program. They will perform support services in the pharmacy related to inventory management, filing, billing, claim reconciliation, maintenance of the dispensing area, and assist in training pharmacy interns. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with pharmacy and clinic staff, medical providers, and patients. 

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, shifts varying from 7:30am to 6:00pm

Advertised Salary:

$53,000 annual 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program
  • Eligible for licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in North Dakota
  • Knowledge of retail pharmacy
  • Knowledge of private insurance, Medicare D and Medicaid
  • Ability to input and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with co-workers
  • Flexibility in performance of daily responsibilities
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy, fast paced pharmacy environment
  • Willingness to actively participate in the continuous quality improvement of pharmacy services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with QS1/NRX pharmacy management system
  • Knowledge of pharmacy computer system software utilizing workflow system and robotics
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural setting
  • Experience working with interpreters/language lines
