Job Title: Admissions Coordinator

Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND

Compensation: $37,500-$47,500 (based on experience)

Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage (health insurance premiums paid 100% by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave. Position Details:

Mayville State University is seeking an Admissions Coordinator in the Admissions Office. Become a part of a team that is responsible for the processing of the student application; review and determine admission standards for acceptance to the institution. Bring ideas to develop and implement student communications, recruitment activities and prepare materials for enrollment. An Admissions Coordinator must also be aware of admissions and enrollment trends while adhering to policies and procedures. This position needs someone to provide excellent customer services and work effectively in a team environment.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, occasional evenings

Required Competencies:

· High level of teamwork/cooperation/collaboration, initiative, and customer service

· Demonstrated organizational and communication skills

· Ability to work in a high paced environment and learn new concepts quickly

Minimum qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree; or,

· Four years’ experience in an administrative position;

· Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office

· Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain excellent working relationships verbally and in writing with a wide variety of users, co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, and liaisons between teams.

Preferred qualifications:

· Previous experience in Admissions, Recruitment, or related field;

· Previous experience with Campus Solutions

· Knowledge of student recruitment systems

· Experience working with confidential information or requirements such as FERPA
