Join NDSU Dining and help feed the herd! Located in the heart of NDSU’s campus, enjoy state-of-the art facilities and a fun, lively environment. Help us maintain a clean and safe environment for NDSU students, faculty, staff and guests by washing and sanitizing the dishes used to prepare and serve food.  In addition, this position will assure food safety protocols are met as well as maintain equipment used in the dishroom. In this position, you are guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10 paid holidays, plus paid vacation and sick time. Description & Details:

  • Completes set-up, maintenance, teardown, and clean-up of the dish room.
  • Executes all necessary tasks to assure a high degree of cleanliness, quality, and sanitation in the dishroom. 
  • Maintains all equipment used in the dishroom in an acceptable and sanitary condition.

Work Schedule: 

Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-8:30pm, Fridays 12:30-9:00pm.  Weekend rotation.  Summer, winter and spring break hours vary.  

Advertised Salary: 

$18.00+/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year experience in a food service operation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food safety certification preferred
