Position Information

 

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and academically proficient individual to join our team as an 1/8-time Graduate Assistant for the Fall 2024 Semester. This position offers an excellent opportunity for graduate students to gain valuable experience while supporting faculty members in teaching and scholarly activities. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master of Education Program 
  • Strong academic background with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in teaching assistance or academic research is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist graduate faculty members with teaching responsibilities, including but not limited to:
    • Preparing course materials.
    • Conducting research for course content.
    • Grading assignments and exams.
    • Facilitating classroom discussions or activities.
  • Support faculty members in scholarly activities, including:
    • Conducting literature reviews.
    • Assisting with data collection and analysis.
    • Proofreading and editing research papers or grant proposals.
    • Providing logistical support for conferences or academic events.
