Job Title:  Nursing Administrative Specialist

Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND

Compensation: $32,881 - $47,881 - To commensurate with experience - 12 month position

Position Details:

Mayville State University has an opening for a Nursing Administrative Specialist to fulfill all administrative functions for the Division of Nursing. This position will serve as the primary coordinator for communicating all policies and procedures for the Division of Nursing, answer inquiries regarding admissions standards, manage nursing applications, analyze transcripts for admission, admit students to both the university and the BSN/MSN programs, notify students of their status, assist the division chair/dean in budgetary processes and data management, communicate with transfer institutions including recruitment events, and assist in the daily operations for the Division of Nursing.

Required Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Technical abilities to operate, troubleshoot, and monitor computer equipment, navigate support websites, and general knowledge of online platforms
  • Superb organizational skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree in education, business, health care, or related field, with a minimum of three years related work experience
  • Experience interacting with individuals and groups
  • Experience with multiple operating systems including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in a self-directed, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
