POSITION: Assistant Athletic Director
LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a 12-month, 70% position with full benefits.

JOB SUMMARY: Lake Region State College (LRSC) is seeking applicants for an Assistant Athletic Director. Responsibilities include serving as the on-site manager for all home athletic events; train, and manage game day student staff; assist with facility setup for games and practices; partner with visiting student-athletes and coaches to ensure two-way communication; keep official statistics at all home athletic events, compile and record cumulative individual and team statistics, and provide regular reports as required by conference offices; and assist with coordination of travel, meals, uniforms, equipment, etc. for away games; organize and inventory uniforms and equipment.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate leadership ability and professional behavior when dealing with student-athletes, college staff and the public. Dependent on an applicant's education and experience, there is the potential to have this position paired with additional campus duties to create full-time 12-month employment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. Master's degree preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain working relationships with college students. Ability to travel and work a varied schedule. Playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
SALARY: $45,000 - $49,500 plus excellent benefit package
