Position Information

 

The North Dakota State University Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering seeks an Academic & Student Service Coordinator.

Position Responsibilities:

·        Perform department receptionist and administrative duties

·        Faculty and student support

·        Assist with course scheduling and room reservations

·        Event coordination

·        Maintain records for graduate and undergraduate students

·        Assist advisors with orientation

·        Manage annual department inventory processes

·        Handle space, phone, printing, and key requests

·        Maintain course syllabi records and serve as unit record coordinator

·        Serve as department safety officer

·        Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Two (2)  years of relevant work experience

·        Knowledge of and experience with standard office equipment

·        Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

·        Exceptional interpersonal oral and written communication skills

·        Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully in a diverse professional environment

·        Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

·        Desire to work independently, as well as collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with NDSU software platforms

·        Experience working in a higher education setting

·        Associates degree

Work Schedule:

·        Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. This position is not eligible for remote work.

Annual Salary:

·        $36,500+, commensurate with experience
