Job Title:                    Cook

Location:                    Mayville State University, Mayville, ND

Compensation:          $15.58 - $18.69 per hour - based on experience

Benefits:                    Includes single or family health care coverage (premiums paid for by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave. Position Details:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, food preparation, customer service, and catering services. Work schedule will vary, may also include holidays, weekends, and flexible rotations. Responsible for preparing, made from scratch meals. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Detail oriented and function independently, and as a team player.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Highschool or GED
  • Experience preparing quality made from scratch meals.
  • Ability to follow recipes
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years experience with short order cooking
  • Servsafe certified or ability to become certified
