TYPE OF RECRUITMENT: External 

POSITION: Office Manager (Division of Liberal Arts & Educational Innovations)

LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota 

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 12-month, benefited position

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for initiating, providing, supervising/managing, and coordinating quality administrative services to the Division of Liberal Arts Dean, Program Coordinators, faculty, and students in accordance with established NDSCS Quality Standards. Duties include direct administrative support to the Dean of Liberal Arts and the Liberal Arts faculty, managing and creating term schedules, special payments to faculty, office and instructional support management, public relations, new student registration, and maintaining HIPAA and FERPA requirements. The successful candidate must be flexible, highly motivated, self-directed, and able to analyze and solve problems while working effectively in a team-centered management atmosphere.

SALARY: $50,000 - $55,000 commensurate with education and experience

Required Competencies

  • Associate degree in Office Administration or related field
  • Recent work experience in an office setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications

 
  • Academic office experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
